Robinho (C) of Brazil challenges players of Iran during their friendly soccer match in Dubai October 7, 2010.

ABU DHABI, Oct. 7 -- Brazil cruised to a 3-0 easy victory over Iran in an international soccer friendly here on Thursday.

Daniel Alves, Alexandre Pato and Nilmar scored for the Brazilians who only made their second appearance in the United Arab Emirates with their first in 2005 when they whitewashed the UAE 8-0.

Alves opened the scoring in the 14th minute for Brazil, which saw the head coach of Mano Menezes after Dunga was sacked following their World Cup quarterfinals exit.

Pato found the net again in the 69th minute and Nilmar scored two minutes into injury time.

Menezes, who headed the team to beat the United States 2-0 in his debut as head coach, said that it had been another chance to try out some fresh talents as he tries to put a side together for next year's Copa America and then for the 2014 World Cup which Brazil are hosting.
